Season 1, Episode 1: Chapter One 'Genesis'
"Heroes" este un serial american creat de Tim Kring pentru postul NBC. Acesta spune povestea unor indivizi obisnuiti care descopera ca au abilitati extraordinare. Claire, spre exemplu, isi poate regenera corpul in mod spontan, putandu-se vindeca de orice rana, Isaac Mendez prevede viitorul, Matt Parkman este telepat, iar Hiro Nakamura poate calatori in timp si se poate teleporta. Serialul exploreaza modalitatea in care ei se adapateaza schimbarilor si rolul lor in prevenirea catastrofelor si salvarea umanitatii.
Serialul pune accent pe "fenomene paranormale" care constau in puterea pe care o detin o serie de oameni cu "daruri" speciale denumiti eroi. De ce sunt numiti asa? Pentru ca binele lumii sta in mainile lor si numai ei pot mentine echilibrul dintre bine si rau.
