Lie To Me este un serial de televiziune american. Personajul principal este Doctorul Cal Lightman, care ajutat de colega sa Dr. Gillian Foster, detecteaza inselaciunile, minciunile oamenilor analizand limbajul corpului si microexpresiile, si isi foloseste acsete talent in favoarea clientilor sai (ca de exemplu politia). Cal si Gillian o angajeaza pe Ria, care se pare ca are un talent innascut in detectarea minciunilor. Intre cei doi se pare exista cateodata divergente, poate pentru ca Cal atrebuit sa invete tot ceea ce stie, pe cand Ria are un ochi format. Pe parcursul episoadelor, echipa rezolva diferite cazuri, de la crime la cazuri nu atat de grave. Personajul principal este bazat pe Paul Ekman, un cunoscut psiholog si expert in citirea limbajului corpului si a expresiilor faciale.

Agent Reynolds refuses to testify in an undercover case from his past because it may reveal that he killed a man during the operation, but Dr. Lightman tries to come to his defense and keep him out of harm's way.

Dr. Lightman and Dr. Foster help an angry teen find his birth parents, while Eli and Ria try to figure out who was responsible for a fatal "Black Friday" trampling incident at an electronics store.

During the holiday season, Lightman goes to Afghanistan to assist in a mission to rescue two captured marines, and his only source of intelligence is an American expatriate.

Season 2, Episode 16: Delinquent
Dr. Lightman helps Torres's half-sister, who is serving time in a juvenile facility, after an fellow inmate who asks for her help is killed. However, Torres is not convinced that her sister can be trusted.
